l went snowboarding for the second time yesterday, and it was a blast. Im 15, and l think it was a good age to start.By the middle of the day, l was able to make it all the way down a beginner run without falling, and was able to go into a toeside turn from a heelside, and vice versa.l always thought l was too fat and had no balance (6'3'', 215), but l was really surprised at how l did.l would like some input on how l am doing, based on what l said.Thanks in advance.

Your doing fine. Unless u start doing tricks, it does not get much harder.

Start working to develop faster transitions, while checking ur speed in the process.

The better u get the less space u will need to go edge to edge. Starting out u will probably use the whole slope to transition, & progressively get smaller. Once u can make the really tight stuff its time to hit the trees in the pow, yeah!!!

(P.S. I've seen plenty of people not even make it down the bunny slopes after a whole day, so I'd say ur doing great.)

your right on pace with where you should be after 2 days.next time try warming up on the green trails a couple times and then move up to a few blue square trails.

yea man you're doing well. as long as you go out and shred often you should progress pretty quickly. once you get those basics down of switching from heelside to toeside you're golden. nothing changes from here on out except speed and being able to do it more smoothly. id say you're right on track and should be conquering the rest of the mountain shortly
