ok, ive been going skiing like every year since l was 10 (im now 15) and im going snowboarding this Februaryhalf term to levi in finland, so is it and aAdvantageto aalreadybe able to ski to learn to snowbord if you know what l mean??

It means you will be less afraid of falling so you may for that reason pick it up quicker, but it is a completely different technique so it is hard to know! once you're there and dive straight into it i'm sure you will pick it up more quickly, though, even if it is just because you have more experience of the sort of conditions. have fun! xx

l think it is an advantage. l mean you are already used to the snow and to the slopes. Of course snowboarding is different than skiing, but l am sure you will learn it soon. l have been skiing for a long time and then l switched to snowboarding. It did not took me so long to learn it.

its a huge advantage cause you already have a feel for the slopes. next you just need to get used to a board set up by going side ways, then you just need to learn how to carve.

yeah just dont try anything stupid the first time

Its an advantage, well l believe it was to me anyways =) cus u get the general feel of being on the slopes.. but then obv its different cus yr standing 90 degrees to yr left (or right).. anyways try it! its so much more fun! =) xx
