I've been riding for about 6 years, and I'd like to think I am good. Not doing gigantic cliffs yet, but l can hang with anyone and like to stay in the blacks from the get go.I am contemplating buying a burton bullet from a Buddie as a pow board. It is an entry level board, but I am somewhat confused as to why that would be a bad thing. It is easy to ride and durable, according to the reviews..
What is the benefit for me to have an advanced board as opposed to a beginner or entry level board? If it is easy to ride and responsive then is not it good enough??

The main difference between a more advanced board is the materials they will use. The more advanced(and usually more expensive ones) r made to be the best available. In many cases these boards offer newer & better board designs as well.
Things l am talking about: What the edge is made of What the core is made of What kind of fiberglass they use What kind of reinforcement does the board use(e.g. some use kevlar) What is the p-tex made of(sintered or extruded, or is it a graphite race base, etc..) Is the shape new & better(e.g. Libtech boards with magnetraction)
The list goes on.
Ultimately the choice is up to you, & if u like what hes selling & the price is right, go ahead & grab it.

l would say that advanced boards allow advanced boarders to do advanced things.Just a guess mind you. However, l suggest that you hold up on such a purchase.Keep using the plank you ripped off of the barn wall

it depends how often you ride. if you are gonna go out and get a top of the line board you want to use it...why get a ferrari and leave it in the garage? the simplest way is to get an all around board that can do everything well, l liptech and gnu are the best boards for all around they float in powder and shred in the park and have a revolutionary new technology. the difference is not huge but you can always tell in the quality of the board. it veries from rider to rider
