l am going riding tomorrow (last-minute) and do not have an iron.Also, a bad snowstorm right now so can not go get my board tuned at a shop either.l do have Dakine rub on wax though.Do not think my board is in too bad of shape, but should l use wax remover before applying the rub on?Or should l just apply some rub on today.Or should l bring the rub on with me and apply if needed?

Lastly, is there something l can use besides an iron to apply Hot wax?Thanks in advance!
That makes sense.l guess l should not remove the wax that is in the pores if l will only be applying the rub on wax which does not get into the pores.Hopefully there is enough wax still in the board while also applying the rub on for me to make due.thanks!

Well since it is just rub on wax the wax remover wont do anything, Usually when u use wax remover u need sometimes need to use more hot-wax to fill the pores of the board but rub on wax does not go into the pores of the board it will just sit on the outside base of the board & because of that u should bring the rub on wax with u cause rub on wax only lasts a couple runs. It wont last u the day so ur best bet is to rub it back on after a few runs or after lunch.

But that can also depend on the conditions if it is a powder day & that is all u will be riding than their will be less friction between the board & the snow so less wax gets removed.
