When you have your scratches filled with P-tex. Can you tell the difference ? Can you tell that it was repaired or does it blend in ?

It might be a little off color but it should be just as smooth as it was straight from the factory if it is done right.

The color will probably be off. P-tex generally comes in white/clear, or black, but l believe there is gray and you can probably find other colors.

If the job was done correctly, the base will be smooth and ride like it did before the damage. You will be able to visually tell it was repaired, depending on the extent of the repair and the colors, but it would otherwise ride the same unless it was a core shot. Then it gets more complicated.

Depends on ur base color, The p-tex sticks come in black or Clear & if it is black than it will look as good as new. However if ur base is white than u need clear & u can obviously see through clear, so u will still see the scratch but it will be smooth & wont effect ur riding so that is all that matters.

A tip if u need to use clear is keep the flame very low if it is to high u will burn the carbon in the p-tex & u will get charred remains & a yellow looking p-tex which does not look good at all. Also another thing is if the scratch is not very deep do not even bother with the p-tex it will just popout if the scratch is not deep & lil scratches r not noticeable when riding.
