How do l know which are for what type of weather? l need a new pair of lenses but l do not know which are right for what type of weather or whatever

On the company website of each brand should usually have information on that, but generally, lighter colors like yellow or clear r designed for night riding & would kill ur eyes during the day, because they would do nothing but block wind. If ur just riding day, go with a darker lens like violet or dark orange. Most goggles come with orange or goldish lenses because they r generally an all around good shade for riding. When it comes to weather, l am not sure if there r different types of lenses or not. Hopefully someone else will have an answer to that one.

even if you dont have smith goggles, this page tells you the purpose of the tints. once you find an appropriate tint for what you want, you can probably find that tint for your brand of goggles..

If you can afford multiple googles, get 2-3 pairs for different conditions. Anything with a chrome finish is good for sunny weather, Clear or Amber lenses work best at night.

l would reccomend getting a Rose colored lens. They work great in Sunny/Cloudy/Night

depends on what you do if you usualy night ride dont get darl lenses but for the day if it is really dunny get kinda dark ones
