what are some good helmets that don't break easil

l allways go with protec helmets, l use them for skateboarding, snowboarding and biking and they havent broke on me yet. There not way too pricy either.

They are all designed to break just before your skull, so make your choice. The theory of a helmet is it is a second skull that will lessen the damage to your brain. They do not necessarily prevent a concussion, but will lessen it.

l am a huge fan of the Giro 9.nine helmets. They've done a great job saving my dome and are really lightweight. Also, if you listen to music while you ride, check out the SkullCandy earpad replacements. Having the music playing through the earpads is much safer and more user friendly than using headphones.

the ones that do not break are the ones on people that do not do head bangers.--- for the moment. we all have an occasional swat head first.

l LOVE my helmet. It is one that wo not break easily. l know that it is strong because the first day that l used it, l bounced my head off of a tree hard enough to require seven stitches to close the split. My helmet is a Boeri.

l really like my Giro Fuse helmet and my kids have Giro .9 helmets and they are also nice. My Fuse has this great lever on the top that moves to adjust all the vents at the same time - open or shut. l also added ''tuneups'' last year and now have audio.

my two top brands for helmets would be R.E.D by Burton, and Protec.

l would go with R.E.D. they make safe helmets plus they do not look like a spaceship landing on your head. Stay away from Bern helmets, they look cool but they are not certified as helmets. Also their customer service sucks if you try to use their ''lifetime warranty.''
