when ur going off a jump in snowboarding, are u suppose to just jump off the lip with both feet or are u suppose to ollie?

just get speed and dont really work about doing anything on the lip at first. your speed is really what determines how much air you are going to get

You do not need to jump - just center ur weight above the board & let the speed carry u though the jump & off the lip.

One word of advice - if the jump is a very flat ramp u can be neutral on ur board but if there is a curved lip at the top it will throw u back a little so it is better to have ur weight forward a little so u do not land on ur back!

Just try a particular jump a few times & u get a feel for where u should be - start at slower speeds & work up to more speed & height.

If you want to get altitude, you want to ''pop'' off of the lip. You do not have to ollie, but if you want to clear that table top and get good air you will need to. You can try to approach the lip a little bit on your heel or toe edge, just a little, and use your back leg to spring off the lip or ''pop'. Try grabbing your board to pull a indie for extra stability in the air.

When l dont spin l pop an ollie.
Unlless im flying.
But for spins you just need the speed to clear it.
