l wanna buy a board this year. l do not know what size to buy. Im 6'1'' and 190 pounds. l have a size 12 or 13 shoe size. l asked some people and they said like 158 or 159. But will my feet hang off?

u should look into a wide board since u have bigger feet. Maybe like 158W or 159W. Depending on ur skill, u might be able to go into the low 160 is wide. l also used Ride Snowboard is board finder & the results were 162W to 172.

If u r able to go check out some boards, l would recommend doing so because u can find out which ones r better for you. Just look at the overall length. The board should be some where in between ur chin & nose when u make it stand up. If u r a beginner, u can find a board that is as tall as ur chin because l heard it is easier to control.

go by ur weight, & a boards recomended weight range, but at the same time a board may have a stiff or soft flex, also ofcourse where u fall into a boards recomended weight range will determone how stiff the board is for you, im 6ft ride a 157 wide 25.7 (midwide really) size 10 boots, 140 lbs, if u got a board that is stiff then yeh l would say u could go with a 159 for allaround riding, maybe longer if u wanted powder too, for a size 12 boot l would recomend a wiast width of 26.6 to 27.5,i like the width of my board for stompibility & stability , so for u wieghing more l would recmoned a board on the wider scale also for that reason, boot increaes .8 cm per WHOLE size (.4 cm per half size) & get fitted in a boot to see what size u r before u buy, its usually smaller than ur shoe size cuz it should fit snugger usually

Right on man, new shredders r always welcome. But you're a sasquatch shredder with those feet lol. No offense intended tho, l wear 12's. But u will definitely need a wide board. Most people with boot size of 11 & up r more comfortable with wide boards. So u will want to look into wide boards that range from a 158cm to a 160cm, like everyone is been suggesting. If u find u still feel uncomfortable in a wide board, like ur toes or heels still drag, then u can buy an elevator. You put that under ur bindings & that will also help out. You could certainly go with a wide board from K2, Burton, Rome, etc, however, it may not suit your riding style. You may be better suited to get a lifter under your bindings. It raises your bindings off the board just enough so that your toes or heels dont drag. If you find a board that really fits your riding style, dont discount the lift option. If you are hitting the park, your length should be 155 - 158. If you are riding free ride then your length should be 158 - 163.
