l am just starting snowboarding this year and l would like to get some nice equipment. l am 13 and weight 85. Please leave some ideas for a board, bindings, and boots. l will pay any price. Thanks!

l would say wait until you become better. You are still a beginner right?
Also, l assume you are still growing, so my opinion is do not buy one yet because it will cost a lot buying boards, binders and boots to keep up with your height. Unless you are really serious about it and snowboard often.

u need to go to a snowboard shop & figure out what u like. For example, l love GNU Boards, Burton Bindings, & DC Boots. But that is not to say a Burton Boot or some other brand fits ur foot better. Personally l think Burton makes the best binding in the business especially with the toe cap that come with the binding. It does not cut off the circulation in u toes & give a boarder better edge control especially on the toe edge. As far as snowboards, u r just getting into this sport & l am sure that a shop will have last years models at really great deals that u can buy. You have to remember that u r going to grow like a weed in the next few years & paying a ton of money is stupid because u r going to be buying new stuff every year for the next 7 years or so. The good thing is u can probably recoup some money by selling the used equipment at the end of the year in order to buy new stuff every year. My biggest suggestion is to go to a snowboard shop & see what u like & what fits u best. Good luck & buy a helmet so u do wreck ur dome!!!

softer boards are easier at slow speeds, just get all beginner equipment for now, it will be easier and cost less, as you improve get stiffer stuff

You need boots, l dont know you shoe size but im assuming like 6-9 for you. Binding, you should get medium sized bindings. Board, l would say a 140-145. Now Im ALL burton, you dont have to do the same but if you wanna go burton then l suggest the burton motos(which are boots) burton custom(bindings) and burton punch (board) those are the cheapest things (not cheap as in bad quality because burton is all top quality).
