the top of my board is starting to get really chipped around the edges, is there anyway to repair it

idk but l am having the same problem with my new skis. they are the 2008 chronics by line and are suppose to be a good ski

only to take it to a board shop, unfortunaly today l put anothere huge dent in my board. but l guess its just part of the sport.
last time l took it they fixed it up a lot for reativly cheap.

Depends if it is chipped or if it is split. l got my board chipped which then made the layers split, but if this is the case just take it to a repair shop and they glue and then clamp it down overnight and by morning it should be good. If it is chipped then you could always get those plastic things like at rental shops that go around the edges but they look pretty lame. Other than that it is probably time to get a new one.

If it is really small chips, there really is not too much to worry about. If it is like separating or a large chip, then it is a serious issue. If it is big, water can seep into your board and wreck it from the inside out.

You can take it to a shop or try to do it yourself. The glue used is not you're regular Elmer is glue. It is called epoxy and they're different kinds. The gap/chip is filled and clamped down over night to set.

You need to file those bad boys.
l suggest bringing it to a shop and having them do it though since it appears you do not know how to.
Ask them to wax it too.
