it really depends on what you want to achieve in the sport, l am not a fan of packages, usually is cheap because you get low end stuff but sometimes shops sell packages that are surplus from past seasons. That being said if you are worried about your bindings, you can always get better ones, Rome, Technine and Ride are good choices. Look them up and next time you are on the mountain ask one of the fellow instructors for advise on gear.

That depends, How often are you going to go boarding? if it is only a couple times a season than it will be fine. But if you plan to go a lot than you could do better. That really is just a beginner board, much better choices out there if your planning to go boarding a lot and looking down the road. k2 luna and the ride solace are both good choices.
