My cousin thinks shaun white is better but does not snowboard, and l think travis rice is because he a much more influential rider and focuses on the actual sport and not the business side more like shaun white does, travis rice focuses much more on the actual thing snowboarders are supposed to do which is ride and not make video games and clothing, so which is better and give details why. And only snowboarders answer.

shaun white. he skates, snowboards, and is good at both. the reason shaun white is not like travis, is cause he also has 2 do skating stuff. so shaun white. totally

l snowboard and l like shawn white you should watch First Decent, it a documentary that shows alot of big name snowboarders riding and talking l think that will give you a different opinion of shawn white

definitely not shaun white. TRice is where its at. i've been snowboarding my whole life and competing. i've been to us chevy grand prix twice and i've met shaun white. he is a jerk. really. his head is in the wrong place and its starting to show in his riding. TRice is constanly upping his riding level and is a great snowboarder.

l like Whites ability only if he would use it differently. Like making video clip and not video games. Not being so focused on winning. Say personalitly of Travis with Whites ability. l think that would be sweet.

Shaun White has amazing skill, but is WAAAAYYY to commercial with it. T. Rice is an absolutely amazing rider and is more ''true'' to the sport. If given the choice, l would ride with Rice over White 10 times outta 10. He is a great influence as far as shredding is concerned.

Lets just say shaun white wont hit most of the backcountry runs travis rice does, If you're deciding who is more hardcore when it comes to real snowboarding in the backcountry than travis rice wins this one easily. Shaun white is more of a halfpipe competition oriented rider, Which he obviously succeeds at & is probably the best at that part of snowboarding. So really deciding who the best is overall comes down to ur own personal preference of which type of snowboarding u like better.

Me personally as much as l like half pipe, It really does now a days just come down to who can spin more so it gets rather repetitive & boring. Watching someone like travis rice slay the steep backcountry chutes is just nuts & impressive.

I'd suggest checking him out in that is it that is all, You will see the crap he hits that shaun white would never hit.

Shaun White throws down in the pipe no questions asked. But other than that.no. Have u seen That is It, That is All??? Travis is NASTY. One trick he does is a double backflip into a backside rodeo, or something along those lines. You get the picture.

White is raking in the money. He has a deal with Target, his own video game, & running a commercial with HP. Along that, he is pretty much head to toe Burton with his own line. He is in for the money. He is good, but not progressing that much personally, or for the sport. All l see him ride is pipe, & it is always back to back spins. Okay, we get it. You can spin a lot. Now do something else will you?

l like Rice is style more too.

Rice may also skateboard too. Maybe not competing in the X-Games like White, but a lot of pro snowboarders r good skateboarders too. That & surfing r two things they do in the summer when they r not in the southern hemisphere for snowboarding.
