l think my girlfriend might have got ripped of for how much she paid for my Christmas gift. She went and bought me a used snowboard, it is a K2 Fuse with Dimension23 bindings but the board has huge gouges and scratches on the bottom of it.This does not bother me as much as the condition of the nose however. It seems that the nose of the board is peeling and one small piece is actually about to come right off.She paid close to $300 for everything.

1.Did she get ripped off?

2.Is there anything l can do to repair the front nose of the board?
sorry, my bad she paid just over 200 for it.

l paid just over $200 for a K2 board that is brand new, but last year is model. It was originally $400! So yes, there are some pretty good deals out there but the one your girl made might not have been the best, lol.

Go get it tuned and waxed and it might improve a bit.

l am currently selling my board that has the same quality as yours for $60.

well that would be way cheap if she had bought it new. But since she didnt l would say its not too bad. It may have been a little over priced because of the damage but no she did not get ripped off too badly at all so dont get mad.

she did get ripped off. dimension23 is only a mediocre brand.. K2 is alright. with all that damage 200 bucks is too much to pay. However, all of that damage sounds fixable.. take it in to a ski/snowboard shop and see what they can do.

1. Yes, she probably got ripped off.
2. If the topsheet is peeling, that is called delamination, and can allow water to get inside the core of the board, and ruin it. there is not very much that can be done. l would say take it to a shop and ask there, because anything you try to do at home might make it worse. Also, if any of the scratches or gouges go through to the core, you will have to have the base repaired, which can be quite costly.
