I am looking into buying a snowboard. l have very little experience, but l really wanna learn. What is a good snowboard to buy that will be easy to learn on and will last long?

If your just starting l would not go big and buy a 500$ snowboard.. Any brand really works as long as your comfortable with it. Do not buy a trick board either; trick boards can be twice as much as regular boards. Find one that you like and under 300$. Once your good enough and move into terrain parks, that is the time too buy an expensive board.

If have a budget go with LTD

l am a beginner as well and bought my first board this season.
l invested with a SIM. It was inexpensive, so l can always upgrade if l need to.
l think as long as you find yourself comfortable on your board that is all that matters.

My very first snowboard was a Lamar Whisper 144. l got it at a ''swap'' at Freestyle for $50, which is an amazing deal considering it was in great condition. l still use it and it has served me very well. l recently searched for it on google, and can not find it, but l would highly recommend any Lamar board.

The best boards for ur money as a beginner r Lamar & 5150.
Both r made with good construction & technology. These will be relatively cheap compared to the other big name brands (Burton, Ride, K2, Lib Tech, Forum, etc).

You might also want to consider buying a used board. If u do go with a used board, just make sure it was made within the past few years (not 1999). You also want recent model bindings. If u buy something used & find out that u r not into snowboarding, u can sell the equipment off without losing much (or any) money.
