So l have a problem, on a skateboard and pretty much every thing else l do l use my right foot forward (goofy).But l have been snowboarding for almost a year now and for some reason l ride allot better (regular) left foot forward... l do not know what to do? shouldl have it set to duck footing, so l can just learn to ride both really well?

If u were just starting to learn to snowboard l would say ride goofy since u would be more comfortable with that.

Depending on how many times u have been snowboarding since last year (if it is a couple of times then it will be easier to switch to goofy now) if you've been riding for a while as regular & r comfortable with it then stick with that.

Make sure for whatever u do u change ur bindings correctly. If ur board is set up for goofy but you're riding switch all the time (regular) then u should flip the bindings around & ride regular.

If u plan on learning to ride the terrain park then also put the back binding to duck start out on maybe -6 & slowly increase it to eventually -15. Also learn to ride switch because u will need that for the terrain park.

The point is work on both but make sure ur bindings r set up to which u ride more.

A couple ways to tell is having someone push u forwards when you're not paying attention, whichever foot goes out first is the front foot or ur stronger foot, one u would kick a ball with goes in the back.

l suggest riding any way you feel most comfortable and thats the way it is, if you ride park more then l would suggest keeping your bindings set at the same degree on both feet like you have, l keep mine set at 15,15 for park. Now for powder or just cruising you might feel more comfy with your front foot back a little and your rear foot a little more straight. Feel it out at a couple different settings and find what works for you.

l ride regular cause its easier to ride regular but to me l would learn both
