Im 34 years old and have been riding for 20+ years, after fractures in both my legs (military) l hav not been up in 8 years. After going up last weekend l got the bug back and Im going to get all new gear. Can you guys give me some good choises for the best all-round board in your opinion. l Know my size and im an advanced rider. Also out of all these new clothing bands which are good? Thanx
a all mountain board. I am a free rider / Freestyle rider Im 5'10 175 pounds and the price does not matter, you get what you pay for. Should l stick with burton? l heard they do not make as good of a board any more.

burton is a little bit of a rip off if your going to pay under 500..but once over that price limmit they blow everyone else out of the water, for helmits..id g with a shaun white red helmet.amazing ,,

Bindings:
in my opinion burton makes the best bindings, however, you have to buy a burton board with burton bindings, and l dont think burton makes the absolute best boards these days, they're good though.
but others are flow, rome, ride

salmon is good, and Burton is good for an all mountain board but like this person said before me, there going to rip you off.

in my opinion, burton is my choice.

Burton r pretty good, but when l was trying out boards, they were not my favourite. l love Rome, Nitro, ride & imporium.
The problem with burton is that if u get a burton board, u have to get burton bindings because they use different nuts or something (you can get different bindings, but u will have to buy the screws & things separately) & although other makes of boots will fit, Burton boots fit burton bindings best.
l found when l tried out the burton boards, they were pretty average, but that is just my opinion!

ok, here is what l tink u should get. its a great setup!!!


jacket: sessions shane jacket. an advanced rider needs gore tex, & if u r what u say u are, u will need an avalanche rescue system, which comes with ur jacket. its a blinking light, & theres an avalanche whistle.

pants: the north face scarycrow pant. once again, gore tex, & the recco avalanche rescue system. it also has vents bythe thighs for those hot days.

layering: i'd go with burton ak. its gore tex, the warmest first layer on the market, but 30,000mm breathability. great product

board: i'd go with a burton custom x or custom. they both r very flexible, & both have a carbom I- beam in them.

bindings: for more of the mountain, i'd go with flow. the speed

binding. specifically, the flow m11. great all mountain free- ride.

boots: the thirty two circuit boa or focus boa. fairly good flex, & the boa lacing system will make sure ur the first one riding while u & ur buddies r lacing up their boots
