Any tips on

or anything else, im having one lessons before l go with my school

you are going to fall down a lot and you might get pretty sore

you might want to give up right away but dont do it

it gets better

your board should be the right size for your height and weight. boots fit tight on toes and shin. keep trying you will get it. the next time you go snowboarding it will be so much easier than the 1st time.

lol trust me .. u will not like it at first bc l know l didnt. u fall down alot bc youre so not used to it & u will get sore trust me - but after a couple lessons & practice youll get the hang of it & start going down actualy mountains ..


alsso dont buy ur snowboard . its ALOT of money & youre a begginer i'd rent one out for the season .. im pretty good & thats what l do l just rent .. but im buying mine this season .. so at first just rent it & and see if u like it becuase u might end up not liking it!

and l go with my school snowboarding its the best !!

wen u take lessons, get a private one. wen u r in a group, u do not get enough personal attention and help.

The best thing u can do is rent the gear that way u can try different sized boards. Usually l go for a board that sits at the chin or above. Boots, u try on like shoes. When u try them on, keep ur feet flat & bend ur knees. If ur heels move up at all, they're the wrong size. Make sure they do not pinch ur toes. Bindings must fit over the boot, of course. Test out what stance is most comfy to you.

Just FYI, take aspirin before hittin the hill or u r gonna hurt so much, u will cry. It will hurt just a little less.

if u r just starting snowboarding, do not buy a snowboard, or bindings. the entire package will probably cost u over $1000 & it is seriously not worth it. most snowboarders & skiiers will tell u this. instead, l hire boots, & a board (bindings r included lol). then decide if u serisouly want to invest in a snowboard. every resort u go to will probably have somewhere u can hire out equipment.

as for lessons - just go to ur local mountain, they will set u up with the kind of lessons u want. they can be a little bit pricey, but it is better than just doing it by ur self.
after ur first few lessons, u might seem a tad sore. especially in the butt area. it just takes a while to get used to, & the more u practice, the better it gets.

Well the first couple of times you go down l can almost promise you you will fall down. You WILL be sore. But l would not splurge on a board and gear but get a board between your shoulder and chine. And make sure you get a pair of good gloves and boots, and wear helmet.
