Any hard wax would do, but you wo not be saving much unless you're used to buying swix. If you look online, you can find it so cheap l do not think you'd be saving anything by trying to make it. One Ball Jay makes a huge bar for under 8 bucks. Plus, you could get some bad stuff on there that wo not come off. not worth it.

Wax varies by the temperature. Spend $8 and get three sticks in one pack. As long as you're ironing it on, its worth the money. If you plan to rub it on, buy a candle from the dollar store and stop after every second run to rub it on.
