l am 6'6'' and weigh 275lbs and wanna get a snowboard and all the fixings. Any idea where online l can look? All l can find online seems too small for me. l was told l would need around a 175cm wide board does that make sense?? Thanks guys!!!

first off r u good?

If u r just beginning, I'd say buy something crappy & see how it goes. the size of the board is not the most important aspect u want something that standing upright is between ur chin & ur nose. If it is a little smaller, u will have more control & be able to do more tricks, if it is a little bigger, u will have more flexibility.

If u want quality gear i'd say head to ur local snowboarding gear store & talk to someone directly. go somewhere that specializes in ski & snowboarding, not just a general sports store. l hit up the Burton headquarters last year & Its amazing.

Im 6ft 200lbs 11.5 size ft & l currently ride a 160 wide

175 wide is a pretty basic parameter for a dude ur size. What do u want to do on ur board? park? freeride? What kind of mountain will u be riding? The to these questions will ultimately influence what size board u get.
